Understanding our client’s needs has always been a cornerstone of how we deliver a project. Brisbane Grammar Schools’ Griffin House represented a unique combination of heritage-listed buildings meeting modern architectural design.
Page Furnishers was proud to collaborate with Brisbane Grammar Schools’ Griffin House redevelopment in 2020. Griffin House provides state-of-the-art boarding facilities for junior students. and is a heritage-listed building, something that provides a unique challenge. As the building itself cannot be altered in any way due to the heritage listing, Page worked with the architect and client to design and manufacture a floating design for the student accommodation. This free-standing design proved to be incredibly robust and seamlessly integrated into the existing building.
Page was engaged with the client to manufacture, supply and install joinery for the 10 twin student rooms and adjoining facilities.
