Brisbane Grammar School – Harlin House Stage 2

We have a long history of working with Education facilities. Creating world-class environments that enrich student experiences and outcomes.

Page Furnishers was proud to collaborate with Brisbane Grammar Schools’ Harlin House redevelopment in 2021. This partnership was a continuation of the first stage at Griffin House which provided accommodation for the junior boarding students. Harlin house provides state-of-the-art boarding facilities for senior students and, as per Griffin house, is a heritage-listed building. As such, a floating design would have to be installed so as to not damage the existing heritage-listed building.

Working with the Client and Architect, Page was able to modify the previous floating design in Griffin House, to provide a newer concept that better meets the privacy requirements of older students. The newer concept meets these requirements and managed to reduce materials and costs in the process.

Page was engaged with the client to manufacture, supply and install joinery for the 48 twin student rooms and adjoining facilities.
